Description
Our aim is to do this by bringing to the world's poorest country opportunities to initiate self-run, self-supporting projects that offer real solutions to the difficulties facing the country. It is our belief that real and lasting development comes from below, from local projects that address specific needs, rather than large international models. I went there this summer and there are really exciting changes going on right now. The Planting Promise International Primary School has been up and running for a year, educating
nearly 300 children. By night, this becomes an adult literacy school. Self-supporting projects include agriculture, an internet cafe and a soap
making business.
