Description
As a student member of Hughes Hall you are automatically a member of our MCR. MCR stands for Middle Combination Room, it is both the name of a room in College purely for the use of Hughes Hall students and their guests and the name of the society.
Hughes Middle Combination Room is also our college bar and is found in the main building. The MCR is currently affiliated to both the Cambridge University Students' Union and the Graduate Union.
The MCR is the focal point of our community. The Committee plan and organize a wide range of events from tea and cakes to Hughes hall bops. As well as social events the MCR represents you on the College council and lobby the college to provide adequate facilities and support for all Hughes students.
