It's my role to mediate between the student body and the college authorities. I sit on a lot of committees, chat at a lot of behind-the-scenes meetings, and generally rush around like mad trying to keep this place vaguely together. It's my job to organise the housing ballot and the college parenting scheme. I sit in on college meetings and help the president to make tough decisions!
Secretary

My role as secretary is to take minutes at meetings, to help with general administration work and to book out the Stretton Room.
Treasurer

The JMA Treasurer's main duties are to distribute funds to the "Junior" Amalgamated Clubs, to draw up the Entz budgets and present them to the Senior Treasurer for approval, to be responsible for the money management of the Entz and finally to be a general adviser to the JMA committee, advising on decisions such as buying new equipment and rent increases for example.So get in touch about funding applications for a society or sports club, if there is any equipment that you think the college should consider buying or if you have a problem with anything financial.

The face of the fabulous furore that is the Fitz bop working the crowd and spinning some sickkkk tunes! I even love my fellow Fitzbillies so much that I am willing to work a little into the early hours, clearing up the debris that your drunken friends have left strewn across the JCR afterwards! My duties also include the essential task of filling up the photocopier so get in touch as and when it runs dry!
Communications

As the communications officer, it's my job to keep you up to date with events inside college and across the uni in general. I send out the Billy Bulletin, making sure you know whats happening when and where. If a college has an ents, if a society needs publicity, or if someones lost something, I'll be there. And I'll send out an email.

Our job is to organise our college's part in the shadowing scheme by recruting volunteers and organising activities, to cooperate with CUSU in the target schools initiative, and generally promote Fitz as the bestest and friendliest college ever ever. We do stuff like the fresher's handbook and Fitz's entry to the alternative prospectus too.

Our role is to be an impartial alternative source of support for the Students in Fitz. We can provide information from CUSU on various welfare-related issues (sexual health, academic affairs, advocacy, mental health, single parenting, racial and ethnic issues). We can also provide FREE pregnancy tests, condoms and personal alarms. Most importantly we are here if Fitz's students need to talk through something that's bothering them or just a chat to clear their head.

As well as providing the women of Fitz with all the free condoms and pregnancy tests their hearts could desire, we are also here generally for any crises you may have and a source of information for where you can go for help. This role is also political, getting involved with target and access, CUSU women's council and supporting campaigns for women's rights in and out of the university.
