Summary
CVN is a student-run organisation which sends 14 volunteers each summer to 3 different schools around Nepal, in conjunction with Oxford and Durham who also send their own volunteers.
Description
The previous years' volunteers are responsible for choosing the new ones each year, and volunteers teach a variety of subjects and ages for 6 weeks in either the first or second half of the summer.
This is a fantastic opporutnity to experience Nepal as it really is, from the local's perspective rather than that of a tourist. The volunteer teaching is one of the most worthwhile things you can do there and volunteers are valued highly as there is a large emphasis on the importance of education there.
