Summary
Ultimate Frisbee is a team sport which is played seven-a-side on a pitch about the size of an american football field.
Description
The object is to pass the frisbee (or "disc") up the field and try to catch it in the endzone. You cannot run with the disc, so your teammates must try to help you out by running into a position where you can pass to them. If the disc is dropped, intercepted or caught out of bounds, it's a turnover and the opposition gets possession. The game has no referees and players make their own calls - this is known as the "spirit of the game" and helps to ensure fair play. There are variations of normal Ultimate that are played indoors or on a beach, but they all share the same basic set of rules. Ultimate players are known for their party spirit and socialising and partying are encouraged both within the club and at tournaments. We hope to attract as many people as possible to try this unique and rewarding sport!
