Membership to this society is open to all members of the University of Cambridge who have an appreciation for Turkish culture, food, and politics.
Description
Our constitutional aims are as follows:
1. The Society aims to promote awareness and understanding of the cultural, political, educational, historical and social aspects of Turkey and Turkish speaking areas.
2. The Society aims to represent the Turkish students of Cambridge and to ensure in their welfare by practicing a parenting system similar to that operated in Cambridge Colleges. This system will also include non -Turkish members of the society.
3. The Society will work and liaise with other Cambridge Departments, Colleges and other societies to further the objectives of the society.
4. The Society aims to establish links with other Turkish Societies at Oxford and the Universities that make up the University of London to enable joint events to be held
