Summary
Cambridge Dancers’ Club is a non-profit organisation, run by its members, promoting dancing around Cambridge, UK.
We are a registered Cambridge University society, and around 3/4 of our members are CU students or staff.
Description
The main things we organise are dancing classes, workshops, competitions, social events and Cambridge University teams.
There are usually about 30-40 different classes during the 8-week terms, including ballroom (modern), Latin, Salsa and Rock-and-Roll, with levels from Beginners to Advanced. Ballroom and Latin classes are available as dancesport classes, with an emphasis on technique, or general dancing, where the focus is more on steps.
News Alert
Our current season is Michaelmas term 2009 (Monday 12 October 2009 – Friday 4 December 2009).
Beginners classes are now closed to new starters. The next opportunity for beginners to join will be in the new year.
