Summary
Cambridge University Chamber Choir is directed by David Lowe and Leo Tomita. It was founded in its current form by Tim Brown. The choir reauditions every year and draws its members from a number of Cambridge colleges. Its chief purpose is to explore the secular and non-liturgical choral repertoire that is often untouched by college chapel choirs.
Description
The Chamber Choir works frequently with professional soloists and instrumental ensembles; performances have been undertaken with orchestras such as The Academy of Ancient Music and The King's Consort. The Chamber choir has broadcast on Radio 3 and has made three compact disc recordings. The administration of the choir is run by a committee of members.
