Cambridge University Bobbin-Lace Making Club

We are a friendly society that meets up once a week to make bits of lace. We also give lessons for beginners.

Welcome to the Cambridge University Bobbin Lace-Making Club. My name’s Sarah and I’m the Founding-President of the society, as well as teaching all the classes. I’ve been lace-making for over 9 years now so (hopefully!) I’ll be able to help you whether you’re advanced or a complete beginner. It doesn't matter that you haven't done any sewing or crafty things before; all you need is enthusiasm. Lace-making is a relatively unusual craft anyway, so most people will be beginners too.
