LUX is a start-up social media utility connecting Cambridge students with organizations in the city, societies in the university and people in Cambridge. LUX gives these previously disconnected entities a platform to share information, allowing students to discover everything that the historical city has to offer, find information that is relevant to their specific needs, and use this information via personalised tools to make the most of their Cambridge experience.

The dictionary definition of LUX is the measure of luminescence, and this effectively captures our brand which is focused on illumination and spreading information.

We are currently most interested in individuals with experience in php, java, flash and creative suit, but there are opportunities in other areas of the business as well.

LUX not only provides you with a unique combination of quality features, but it does this absolutely free of charge.
